We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating this year’s Chrism Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The event will take place on Monday, March 25, 2024. Archbishop Gomez and the bishops and priests of the archdiocese will gather at the Cathedral to celebrate this important liturgy. The Chrism Mass will be live-streamed and will begin at 6:45 PM. During the event, Archbishop Gomez will consecrate the sacred oils used in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders.
The Church starts the sacred Easter Triduum with the Mass of the Lord's Supper, which is celebrated on the evening of Holy Thursday. You can participate in this Mass either in person or virtually. During this year's Holy Thursday Mass, the traditional washing of the feet will take place with the participation of 12 faithful.
