Each year, Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries team up with the Office of Religious Education to host a special event for third graders from nearby Catholic schools. This event allows the children to explore and learn about the Day of the Dead, also known as Día de los Muertos. Throughout the day, they discover the cultural and spiritual significance of this occasion, starting with a presentation in the historic Calvary Mausoleum Chapel. Afterward, they engage in creating traditional crafts and building an altar.
