Archbishop Gomez and the bishops and priests of the archdiocese will gather at the Cathedral to celebrate this important liturgy. The Chrism Mass will be live-streamed and will begin at 6:45 PM. As we await Jesus' resurrection, we cordially invite you to join Archbishop José Gomez in celebrating the Easter Vigil Mass. The vigil will commence outdoors with the blessing of the fire at the Easter Fire Hearth located on the Cathedral Plaza. It includes a short candlelight service and a service of the Word. The Paschal Candle for the year 2024 will be lit for the first time, marking the beginning of a new liturgical year. The Easter Vigil Mass will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 8:00 pm and will be conducted in both English and Spanish. For individuals who are unable to attend in person, the Eucharistic Celebration will be live-streamed on our Holy Week page.
